Without Kanji written communication would be a nightmare in Japan. Due to the huge number of homophones texts written completely in Hiragana and Katakana (both phonetic lettering systems) are difficult to read.Even spoken Japanese sometimes needs the use of Kanji. Due to the homophones sometimes you see Japanese using a finger to write Kanji in his/her hand in front of the person he/she is talking too. Writing the Kanji can be easier or faster than explaining the actuall meaning of the term being discussed.Also learning Japanese would be much harder as well, since you would have no idea what parts of a longer word would mean.Further Japanese regularly contract words consisting of several Kanji which even increases the number of homophones.For example:University of Tokyo | Tōkyō Daigaku 東京大学 becomes Tōdai 東大.If you see the Kanji you will immediately know what the contracted word means, otherwise without any context you could speculate about the meanings like: passing the examination, these days, Tang dynasty, etc. :-)Japanese abbreviated and contracted words

NO, because we live on two different planets.We have different news channels, separate news papers, different scripts, different movies. Whenever Telangana leaders visit Andhra, they take interpreters along and vice versa.Do you want to read such an answer???Though we are politically got separated we are ONE. We celebrate the same festivals, enjoy the same movies.There is some marked dialectical difference between the regions. In fact, even within both the states, the dialects are different. People of Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam districts are difficult to follow for the other people in Andhra. Similarly people of Nellore and Chittoor districts have a slang close to Tamil. People of Godavari, esp East Godavari people have a distinct dialect stretching the vowels in words.In Telangana, people of Mahaboobnagar and Nizamabad districts have the influence of Marathi. In Khammam district, half the people speak Andhra accent and half Warangal accent. People of Warangal, Mahaboobnagar and Medak districts contract words.But the Written Telugu is the same. We all enjoy Nannaya, Vemana, Potana, Sri Sri, CNR, Kaloji, Vishwanatha, Srinatha, Yaddanapudi, Yandamoori, Naveen, Ranganayakamma, Dasarathi, Chandrabose.I hope you have realised that Telangana and Andhra are only two separate political and geographical areas. A few hundreds of buses shuttle between the two states everyday, connecting both the states and hearts. We are not like India and Pakistan.

But the boom did not last forever, the treasury got empty and the Peron government ever more authoritarian.Sure, Chile did not do too bad in these days but the Argentine did better.So Argentina surpassed Spain in many ways, foremost economically in those days..Postscript.
