What are some good resources for beginners to learn SystemVerilog?

There are so many resources that you will find to learn SystemVerilog on the internet that you can easily get lostIf you are looking at a must have shorter list, my experience is that you should havethe IEEE 1800.2012 LRM - mostly use as referenceOne text book like - SystemVerilog for Verification - Chris SpearOne text book like - SystemVerilog for Design - Stuart SutherlandAccess to a simulator - If you dont have one use EDA Playground which is niceEvery other website and tutorials and blogs would have some content but a lot of that could be learned from above. And more important is not to just keep reading every possible information, but actually practice coding and simulating and making the learning more fruitful.Hope this helps

How do you feel about Beskar Steel being able to completely no-sell a Light Saber?

Beskar’s always been a “lightsaber-resistant material,” and “lightsaber-resistant” has always meant “completely impervious for all practical purposes.”I feel the same way about beskar that I feel about all lightsaber-resistant materials, whether it’s phrik, cortosis, that other version of cortosis, Sith-alchemized steel, or beskar. It’s fine for now. It’s always fine when it begins. The LRM is always properly limited when it’s introduced. It’s rare, hard to work, comes with various drawbacks. But give it a little, and soon enough every two-bit villain has a weapon or armor made of lightsaber-resistant materials, and then it’s people asking why people didn’t tool up with lightsaber-resistant armor when fighting Jedi, and next thing you know everybody who makes a fan lightsaber imagines it being made of lightsaber-resistant materials, and then it’s nothing but lightsaber-resistant weapons, lightsaber-resistant armor, lightsaber-resistant flatware, lightsaber-resistant toilets, and lightsaber-resistant turtles, all the way down. They’re always fine in the stories they’re made for. And then people make them stupid.[EDIT: Exhibit A …Exhibit B]

What is going on with all these new rumored Star Wars T.V. shows said to be coming in the near future (July 2020 updates)?

By now, I’m sure all of you have heard news about some kind of sequel series to Rebels and Clone Wars as well as other rumored projects (in the form of T.V. shows on Disney+). I am going to break down as much as I can for you guys. The sources WILL be down below for you to access as well. :)Basically, LucasFilm is looking to use all of these rumored T.V. shows (all said to be set at the same time) to create a Star Wars Connected Universe…. Somewhat like the MCU.More in detail, it is said that the four live-action shows said to be coming in the near future will be revolving around Ahsoka Tano (the rumored standalone series starring Rosario Dawson), Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn (which casting has already started), Boba Fett, and a mystery character from LucasFilm (maybe even set around the High Republic).LRM Online has said that their sources from LucasFilm state:These shows [will be] connected to each other and to The Mandalorian. Ahsoka Tano for one is highly rumored for The Mandalorian Season 2. So that gives us The Mandalorian along with four other shows connected and set around the same time period. That means that there will be crossovers with each of these T.V. shows all set sometime after Return of the Jedi (or around the time of The Mandalorian as stated).LRM continued on to say their sources described:Dave Filoni… apparently in charge of all this and will help craft a story across these different shows, which will effectively act as a sequel to his animated shows The Clone Wars, and Rebels. So, to reiterate, the five rumored Star Wars TV shows, with characters who will crossover with one another, have allegedly been said to set within the same timeline as The Mandalorian and will likely BE IN ONE LIVE-ACTION PROJECT WITH ONE PLOTLINE (T.V. series or movie). You may start feeling the vibe of some sort of TV universe in the way that the MCU created a movie universe….“If there are five shows that are all rumored to be exploring the same timeline, with crossovers, surely that builds towards some event” (LRM).And if you think about it, it makes sense for LucasFilm to do this. All of these shows seem to be taking place after Return of the Jedi. Surely there would be SOME sort of connectivity right?? Maybe it’s in the form of a movie… maybe a T.V. series. Either way, I have a very good feeling about this.Ok, but to circle back, let’s see why there is a HUGE possibility that there will be a Mini-Universe created by Dave Filoni.By the end of Rebels, Ezra Bridger was able to accomplish many things that could explain why there will be something big coming soon.He is able to save Ahsoka Tano from death (against Vader) AND help the Rebels (Ghost Crew and their allies) liberate Lothal. Then, Ezra and Grand Admiral Thrawn were transported to somewhere unknown in the galaxy. At the very end of the finale episode of Rebels (which took place after the fall of the Empire), we saw Ahsoka motioning for Sabine to go find Ezra WITH her.Fast forward some more, somewhere between Rebels (remember Rebels ended after Return of the Jedi) and The Mandalorian Season 1, Moff Gideon ends up in possession of the DarkSaber. We know that this Saber was in the hands of Lady Bo Katan the last time we see her in Rebels. Not to mention, she too is ALSO rumored to show up in The Mandalorian Season 2 and/or some other kind of live action show around this time frame.Basically, I feel like there’s more than just a coincidence. All these live action shows are either unfinished or will be brought together somehow. They are also all rumored to be set after Return of the Jedi and near the time of Mandalorian Season 1…. so, you gotta admit, these rumors just sound too coincidental NOT to happen. This new connected universe would probably take place of the Rebels sequel series that all of us were so anticipated about (well, most I mean)!Let’s also remember, Star Wars Celebration was canceled, but I feel like Disney and LucasFilm will still try to provide some sort of virtual round-table discussion and/or panel for the SW fans. At least that’s what they SHOULD do……. so that we don’t get too sad. Hopefully these rumors can be clarified ASAP!Anyways, if this connected universe were to become a thing under the direction of Dave Filoni and possibly Jon Favreau, THIS MAY JUST BE THE TURN AROUND FOR DISNEY!! I am so pumped to see what’s to come in the near future. :)Now tell me your thoughts on this. Do you think these rumors are true? Are you excited for all of this?
