I operated 40 trucks at Matilda’s in Sydney. This was my system.All goods are booked out onto the truck using a computer system. The store from which the goods are obtained is stocktaked once a week.The trucks are also stocktaked once a week. The waste is also collated daily.You then run your totals once a week to see if they balance.If you have a discrepancy then the stocktake is carried out daily until you locate the problem.You can also spot-check during a run. Count the float, cash and goods. I had one supervisor for every 5–6 trucks. The supervisors would carry out Quality checks and canvass for new calls.We sold Matilda’S to Spotless Catering but I was just beginning to put a barcode system in and we had introduced a handheld credit card swipe system.My advice is to reduce the cash by ensuring every truck has the credit card system and to book everything onto the truck using a barcode reader and use the barcode readers for the driver to book sales on.Adding up is also a problem for some drivers so make sure they use a small calculator - even if you use the barcode system make sure you train them to use the calculator for giving change.If they give credit then get the customer to fill in a credit application - at least then you have his home address.The other problem is theft. The driver must always stand on the corner of the truck not at its side so they can see the serving side the the oven.If it is a larger truck and they serve from inside I would put a till in.You must also stocktake the kitchen weekly to ensure date rotation and of course for theft and waste.

IRCTC Tourism App helps you to plan your vacation and book tour packages for travelling within India at comparatively affordable prices.5. IRCTC Catering- Food on Track App allows you to book a meal of your choice anywhere in the country. You can opt from Cash on Delivery or Credit Card options for payment. All you need to do is use your PNR number, view the menu, and order a meal.6. NTES (National Train Enquiry System) App is highly useful for people who commute daily or take frequent trips. It provides commuters with train schedule and real time-status information, like live stations or cancelled trains.7. COMS (Complaint Management System) is the App to share any rail related complaints.8. Coachmitra and Cleanmycoach are pair of useful Apps which help the travellers to get their compartments cleaned immediately. Feedback can be sent on the website CLEANMYCOACH.COM COACHMITRA.9. Railways Parcel Application App helps users to know the current status of their parcel booked with the Railways and calculate the approximate fare based on weight and scale of the train.Railways is in the process of developing more apps and increasing the scope and volume of services being delivered through this user-friendly medium. First let’s focus on expenses and then we can see how to reduce them.Pre-departure formalities :1.1 Exams - GRE- around 15000 Rupees, + IELTS - 13000 Rupees , or TOEFL - Around 13000 Rupees.1.2 Application fee: for each University varies between $20- $300 in my opinion.1.3 Visa+SEVIS Fees : Around $250 .1.4 Flight ticket : Good if you book in advance, ranging from 50000 rupees minimum.1.5 Laptop : If you already have it then don’t count it ! But a good config to sustain on MS projects ranges from 30000 Rupees and no bar on higher range.Tuition Fees : Biggest expenses. Ranging from $300( minimum) and above per credit. MS course requires 30–36 credits for graduation. You can do this math according to your University selection.Insurance : Compulsory thing! Ranges from $500 (minimum) per semester. University provides it mostly.Cost of living : Depends on area. San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most expensive area to live whereas Texas is tax-free state. So, rent depends upon area. Still, it’s affordable to stay off-campus rather than staying in college hostels.Food : If you cook at your own, saves a lot. Especially when you don’t get Indian Food in University Canteens.Transportation : Owning a car along with insurance (minimum $2500 for car + $120 per month insurance) is expensive in contrast with public transportation. Without pass, buses are also costly. Students get discounts on bus passes, but frequencies are not good in USA.Minor expenses : sim card ( $30 per month LycaMobile for India Calling). That’s the plan I used. It’s one of the cheapest.Winter Weather Clothing : You need good jackets,snow boots and other clothing. Around $300. That too, you can buy on Black Friday Sale, and Thanksgiving Day Sale for cheaper prices. But it’s one time investment.Applications for EAD card : Employment Authorization Card requires you to pay $400 fees. It varies every year, please update yourself on this. Photos are costly, I took cheapest from Walmart at $40 for 3–4 photos I remember. You need recent photos so no option to get it in advance.Books : are very costly. I remember paying $36 for one book. So, carry less cloths and more books.Now, it’s time to REDUCE all these costs :Try to get fully funded scholarships, which is not common at all. But even partial scholarships are highly beneficial.If you manage to transfer few credits from Indian University from Same Course Level, then you can save the fees along with time. For example, if you finish successfully one semester of Master’s from India with good score, and then transfer those credits to University, they can waive your one semester. it will considerably reduce your time and cost. It’s a very rarely known fact, but I have seen people doing it, but again depends upon University. Better you first talk to International Student Adviser about it.Internships (CPT), Teaching Assistant-ships, Research Assistant-ships and On-Campus Jobs : They will help you a lot.If you have a relative, STAY WITH THEM ! Yes. That’s the biggest advantage you can ever have in USA while you don’t earn.Today, dollar is above 70 rupees! So, be careful while spending your hard-earned money!With all the best wishes !Thanks!
