In fact, Excel is underrated by many since they really don’t understand the power of Excel.Excel is not meant to be used to analyze big scale of data.EDIT: Excel can be used to analyze big scale of data given proper steps are taken before we do analysis.Excel online meant to be used as collaboration tool for a small team. To use across 50 users, you can use Microsoft PowerApps to build lightweight application for “Action Tracker” and even you can do lot more without need to code. You can also use Microsoft Planner included in Office 365 for Action Tracker.There are gazillions of features and extensions provide solutions to gazillions of use cases.I use Excel Online, Excel App on Phone and Excel on PC for data analysis, gather data(online surveys), scan printed reports to turn into Excel tables, track my Robinhood investments, track job applications, do mail merge, make data driven dashboards for wide range of people, trace requirements, track projects, track road maps, use as a micro CRM and much more.[Addition: 2020/04/17] Insights or Ideas is easy way to get out intelligence from the data.[Addition: 2020/04/17] With Sensitivity label, we can apply label to our content compliant with information protection policies.We can just talk for days on what Excel can do but that is not the point.
