Some companies provide premium pay if the flight attendant fills the purser role (lead flight attendant for the flight). It's a voluntary position, given out based on seniority (the more senior f/a's have first right of refusal).

In many localities, the cards are heavily stacked against the landlord and in favor of the tenant. Sometimes that’s implicit—poor little tenant versus big money-grubbing landlord. But sometimes that’s explicit—from rent control to tenant’s first right of refusal if the landlord wants to sell.The odds, dollar-wise, are stacked against the landlord. The landlord may own a property worth $200,000, $400,000, $600,000, or more. The most—the absolute most—the tenant has at risk is the remaining portion of his/her rent. And more often, it really comes down to the security deposit. The landlord has a $400,000 property on the line, versus the tenant who might have $2,000. Beyond that, most tenants are effectively judgment-proof. You can go to court to try to collect, but even when the tenant is found at fault, it’s very difficult to actually collect anything.Most landlords aren’t trying to “beat the system.” Most are working within the system, trying to provide housing while making a few dollars.
