With 10 billion galaxies in the observable universe, isn't it arrogant to assume that humans on Earth are the only life form in existence?

Do not be fooled by the number of galaxies, stars and their associated planets in thinking there are many civilizations capable of space travel. Jim Abraham is completely wrong on this as he is overlooking one fundamental fact of this universe: There has not been enough time for many civilizations to develop to that level. Here is why!It is a known fact that during the first 8 billion years there were absolutely ZERO stars with planets anywhere in the universe. That is because the first generation of stars , which consisted of hydrogen and helium, did not produce any metals for the universe when they went supernova. This only started to happen when the 2nd generation stars started to go supernova about 5 billion years ago.Our Sun was one of the first 3rd generation stars and formed just as those Type 2 stars were blowing up and distributing vast amounts of metals thru-out the galaxies. A metal, by the way is anything heaver than hydrogen and helium. So 5 billion years ago planets started forming and a relatively few were in the Goldylock zone and were capable of developing life. In our case the first signs of life appeared very quickly after the oceans cooled down about 4.5 billion years ago. Then it took 4.5 billion years of steady evolution to put Neil Armstrong on the moon. What are the odds that any other planet was as lucky as we were? Not very good to be sure. And if it was not for one meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs, mammals would not likely have developed the way they did.So while indeed there are likely millions of planets with life, that life will vary from one-cell plankton to plants to primitive animals to intelligent animals (dog level) to possible pre-industrial age intelligent civilizations. So it is simple logic and odds that put us human into the universal history books as likely the first species to set foot on another heavenly body. We can be proud of ourselves! If it was not already clear, the closest we’ll ever get to an alien is at your local Century 21 or AMC theater :)I have a whole chapter on this in the book The Big Bang Collision Theory. I will send anyone interested the PDF. Contact me at: paul at starnet.com

The ease of use is what makes CocoDoc brilliant. As an event promoter I end up juggling tons of contracts and CocoDoc makes it simple to see that everything gets signed in a timely manner. I love having a history of the document and that it ensures that recipients are reminded of unsigned documents. Excellent service.
