If you’re a Male Bachelor who ever looked for a house, you would know what I mean. I tried all the usual methods of house hunting (except contacting a broker),Asking aroundVisiting Societies around my officeFacebook GroupsWebsites like NoBroker, Commonfloor, Magicbricks etc.Initially, I was pretty sure that I won’t go for a Broker as the brokerage charges sounded quite absurd (1-month Rent in most cases). However, due to paucity of time, I decided to spend some money.Among the options mentioned above, the leads that I could get through the NoBroker & the Facebook Groups looked promising. So I decided to take a risk and spend INR 999 on the Freedom plan, which was still significantly lesser than paying 20-25K to a broker. This is not a hidden camera. It is a DISGUISED camera, hardwired into a 3rd floor hotel room in Utah, which looks like the motion detector for a burglar alarm. The 2019 Florida StatutesTitle VICIVIL PRACTICE AND PROCEDUREChapter 83Florida LANDLORD AND TENANTView Entire Chapter83.575 Termination of tenancy with specific duration.—(1) A rental agreement with a specific duration may contain a provision requiring the tenant to notify the landlord within a specified period before vacating the premises at the end of the rental agreement, if such provision requires the landlord to notify the tenant within such notice period if the rental agreement will not be renewed; however, a rental agreement may not require more than 60 days’ notice from either the tenant or the landlord.(2) A rental agreement with a specific duration may provide that if a tenant fails to give the required notice before vacating the premises at the end of the rental agreement, the tenant may be liable for liquidated damages as specified in the rental agreement if the landlord provides written notice to the tenant specifying the tenant’s obligations under the notification provision contained in the lease and the date the rental agreement is terminated. The landlord must provide such written notice to the tenant within 15 days before the start of the notification period contained in the lease.
