Office time is atleast 12 hours and online time is 14-16hrsWeekends I somewhat sober down. Rarely go to office. But am switched on atleast 6 hours each day.When I am with family, then I am 100% with them.A nifty tool that has helped me is to give 100% calendar access to my wife. She can put in anything in any free time and I have to adhere to it. So my weekend calendars are mostly filled in by my wife :)Part 3: How to avoid burnoutHere is the truth that you already know.Stress is not what you get by working hard.Stress is what you get by working hard for something you don't likeI love what I do. And I haven't burnt out. Not yet.

Even before COVID times, when possible, I would dial into a meeting while doing something else behind the PC, but rather than using Zoom, use Cisco Webex or something similar.And only attend, really attend, when you have to. Like a board meeting, a meeting w/audit, the regulator, those chaps.You sort of half listen, and when they mention your name, you politely say sorry, could you repeat that again? and then answer the question. I must have said that 1000x times in my career.You see, time is valuable, and meetings are a perfect tool for underperforming employees to pretend they add value.Everyone knows that bloke who always asks a question at the end, thinking, if I ask a question, they realize I am interested. They start to know my name. He is wrong.Most meetings are a waste of time. Whoever constantly physically attends these meetings are equally useless. You can track that back in their quarterly or semi-annual reviews.. they simply don't provide enough output. I have heard employees use the excuse for lack of output because their outlook calendar filled up all the time.. eh, you can speak up friend, if you think the meeting is useless, don't attend, or stand up and ask what we try to achieve here, aye?I prefer dialling into meetings, whether it was pre or post-covid, no difference. Too many lot' have no clue how to manage or set up a meeting. My meetings are generally rather short.The worst meetings are “update meetings”, or “team meetings” where one goes around the table and everyone needs to say what he or she did that week. What “went well.” Yuck.

Maybe any online calendar filled with data from Jewish Calendar, Hebrew Date Converter, Holidays would do it?
