I belong to that area of Jharkhand (India) where almost 99.9% can’t differentiate between IIT and ITI.To show my achievement, I will show you my 10-year challenge of what I had and what I have now. For this, I will be sharing some background details. so that you can just compare between me (10 years ago) and me (today).10 years ago.Me:My house(left one):MY study table:Road to my home:My village:Note: I used to take animals for feeding rather than going to school.One day, my stomach started paining badly. I took local treatment (12 km from my home), but the doctor (after trying several medicines) asked us to go to the city (case of emergency). My parents took me to the city for treatment (got appendicitis). After operation and recovery, I came back to the village. But what I saw during one week's stay in that city, was not going from my mind. I used to become happy whenever I remembered about the facilities they had. Curiously, I asked my father. How can I go there forever? He smiled at me and said: not forever, but if you score good marks in 10th, I can send you to study further (My happiness had no limit).Now, I had an aim that I have to go to that city and for this, I have to study very hard to get first division (criteria decided by father).But I had no one to guide. No one tells me what to do.I tried and tried and tried. And did whatever I could. Finally, after the 10th result, I got 70% (on state board).I was the topper in my school (at most went school 10 times a year). The principal came along with one teacher to congratulate me and then news spread that someone’s son has done very well and the headmaster came to congratulate (first time in my village).And from that time to now.Time has changed and it has changed me too.This is me now (in IIT Kharagpur).B. Tech. (BIT Sindri- one of the famous government engineering college of all time in Jharkhand)(2013–2017).GATE- AIR-60′17.M. Tech.- IIT Kharagpur (2017–2019).Ph. D.- IIT Bombay (2019- till now) and will continue……Part-time work- Now, I teach children of my village during vacations and till now I have taught four engineers (including me) in my village compared to none in the nearest 5 villages (10 years ago). It also helped one to achieve 3rd Rank in the state (district topper) in the 10th class.Now it depends on you whether you consider it as an achievement or not, but I do.Thank You.Edit 1: Thanks for the support. As a classroom teacher, one of the biggest problems in classroom management, for a beginning teacher, is developing the skill of what is called: with-it-ness. Some never develop it very well, and often just resort to a constant, disciplinary stranglehold on the class through busywork, and silence, which is not very conducive for teaching, or learning.An example would be if the teacher notices a lot of pointing, giggling, whispering and inattention in the back of the classroom, while teaching and explaining things, often while writing on the board. Something is up, and it must be handled. Usually, while still talking, the teacher can stroll to the disruptive area, and the mere close presence of authority will stop the fun, whatever caused it.Many teachers can attest to doing this, and many teachers, on their stroll to the disruptive area, have been treated to a terrible stench. Farts are very funny to young students, and quite disruptive to the educational experience. The episode must be handled differently than spit wads or pea shooters, if the teacher is: with-it.In Trump’s State-of-the-Nation speech, he took a lot of credit for things. The powerful suffragette, standing right behind him, pointed her hands at the president, while applauding. Trump gave us his frequently used, squinty eyed, chin up, smug Mussolini grin, obviously assuming it was adulation for him.President Trump and most Republicans have no clue what is going on, and act as if they are proud of the farts they have been contributing to the breathable atmosphere. Trump’s SOTU address is a clear indication of his lack of with-it-ness, his ignorance, delusion, and a clear omen of things to come. Women will be the saviors of a country headed in the wrong direction, after all, they are about half the population, and at least half of the voting populace, and they all have something in common.
