What are 1000 random interesting facts about yourself?

.Original question: What are 1000 random interesting facts about yourself?Previous answerers have strayed from the conditions of the question, that being facts “about yourself”, thereby eliminating themselves, though I must give honorable mention to those who went all the way to 1000. (Still eliminated.)I’m just narcissistic enough to attempt to answer this question.I am Deputy to the Chief Outlaw of the Bottom Writers™.I’ve been writing on Quora for 15 months.I have 662k answer views.I have 611 answers on Quora.I have 82 questions on Quora.Enough about Quora…more about me! I thought I was a human being.Gigi J Wolf, however, brought it to my attention that I am, in fact, an iguana. At least, I think I am.I did not choose to become an iguana.I had iguananess thrust upon me.I’ve learned to live with it. (Thinking I am an iguana)Brunhilde 'Udo' Zipplefluff's answer to When did you realize you were an iguana?Life as an iguana is not so bad, actually. I kinda like it. ‘Course, I like lots of things.I have friends who are raccoons.I am easily distracted.I type with two fingers.Oh I have 10 fingers alright (eight and two thumbs) but I type with two.I also have 10 toes, but they’re useless for typing.Maybe I shouldn’t say that ’cause I’ve never really tried to type with my toes. I just assumed they would be useless.I often assume too much.My 20th fact and already I’m bored. I can only imagine how you must feel.Oh! There’s a mouse! I like mice.I once had a deer mouse steal half a Hershey bar from me up on a mountain.I like mountains. When I was 17 I got arrested for indecent exposure.I told the story in one of my answers…something to do with ‘Were you popular in high school’, or something. You can look it up.I can recite “The Raven” verbatim, from memory. That’s 18 stanzas, 1100 words.I like my Boss, Gigi. She’s a kindred spirit and fellow iguana.I’m scared of spiders.I never jumped out of an airplane, even though I signed up for the 82nd Airborne.Yeah, I was in the service, 1972- 1975.I was put in the ASA (Army Security Agency)Then they booted me out after 15 months ’cause I couldn’t get a Top Secret Security Clearance ’cause I was born in Germany.I was born in Germany. It took the Army 15 months to figure out I was born in Germany thus ineligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance, while all the while doing a job which required it. So I got shipped to Georgia and ran a gym.I got brown eyes.I had an alligator snap at me while I was low-crawling through a swamp in Louisiana during basic training.Oh, yeah, I did my basic training and AIT in Ft. Have you ever been on the verge of losing everything?

I am going anonymous because I have young sons and as a divorced older mom aged 55, I did lose almost everything. My sons are now 12 and 15.I was divorced and had 2 young sons ages 6 and 8. I was working for a large oil company when they globally reorganized me and early retired me after working there almost 14 years at age 50. I lost my career at age 50 on March 31, 2010 and was handed a special severance early retirement pkg intended to only last me until Dec 2010. I was lucky and found a job April 1-Sept 24, 2010. It was a Special project working as a contractor with many of some ex-oil company managers (none I ever knew or worked for directly but we had all come from the same global oil layoff). They formed a new startup land company; and as an outside contractor, I was given a short 5 month special land library project. In the midst of all this, my long-term boyfriend proposed and I remarried at age 50. He was 55 with 3 sons, 21, 19 and 15 from a prior marriage but had been divorced and raising them alone about 10 years or so. I brought two sons then ages 6 and 8 to the marriage that occurred right after my oil career loss in June 2010.Well after my contractor job ended Sept 24, 2010, my new hubby waited until after Thanksgiving spent with his parents, after my Dec birthday when he took me on a snow skiing holiday, after Christmas with all of my sons and he and his sons flown up to my widowed mom’s house and then after a NY’s Eve date night out when his oldest 21 year old son babysat the 6 and 8 year old boys, to suddenly wake up the next day on New Year's Day, Jan 1, 2011 and announce that he thought he could help raise my two little boys but now he decided he could not and without any prior fights or warning or anything, the little boys and I were suddenly ordered out of his 4 bedroom home and pushed back into my own NW Houston home that was already put on the market for sale. He gave us 48 hours (the weekend) to find a moving truck and get all our belongings out of his home and made his older sons help pack us up while he ran off to his hunting property and land he had bought to disappear while this was done.I had just lost a long-term career in March. It wiped out my savings after losing the Sept 2010 contractor job when that project ended but I felt certain I would find another job after the Xmas holidays. I didn't find work at age 55 so fast.My 15 year NW Houston home was lost because without a job, I couldn't sustain it on the child support payments that my first ex-hubby was paying us alone. In short order, I lost an almost 14 year career, my retirement and life savings just trying to stay afloat with that huge life event. Then the ink was barely dry on my marriage license when my new hubby of only 6 months suddenly abandoned us. We had just been on our honeymoon and had two weddings —first we married overseas in BVI and then we had a weeklong honeymoon with a wedding at the resort hotel where we stayed for just the two of us (his family was in poor health and older like mine. His mom was in her 90’s and confined to her home with a life-threatening medical condition and his dad was a year younger and was in remission from bladder cancer which went out of remission when we were going through this divorce in 2011). He was the only son with sisters and primary caregiver for both parents who lived nearby to his home.My ex couldn't wait. He left exactly 6 months to the day we married. The little boys and I were devastated.I thought the impact of having 5 boys ages 6 to 21 in this former 10 year bachelor’s home between Xmas and NY’s would be enough to stress anyone out but thought if we gave him some space, his older sons would return to their college campuses out of state and his 15 year old would be back at his mom’s apt and things would die down a bit and he would come to his senses. He surprised me because he had proposed to me telling me he would break it off with me if I didn't marry him. We had been dating a long time and I wanted to wait till my sons were older and all his sons were completely out of the house and having had a failed prior marriage, I wasn't in a rush to remarry so fast.On Valentine's Day 2011, he phoned me and I was hoping he called to say he was sorry and it was a big mistake and he screwed up and wanted us all back home with him. That never happened. He called to say he was impatient and wanted to know why I hadn't filed divorce papers on him. I said well you left us, remember? He said well his dad’s cancer had returned and he wanted us to hurry up and be divorced by April or even sooner. He said I'm not coming back and to go ahead and file. Again, we were absolutely devastated. I cried for weeks on end just walking my home aimlessly wondering how I could lose my oil career, my husband and then later, my 15 year home, all because of these events. It was almost too much to beat.Devastated, I ran away out of state for a school year and slept at my elderly 87 year old, widowed mother’s home with my 6 and 8 year old sons who were struggling even more after losing another father to divorce (again).During that year in her two story lakefront Okla home, I was with my young sons at a local skating rink in nearby Ark when someone in the crowd pushed me and I fell down off the ice but broke a large bone in my left foot. I was on crutches that whole year taking my sons to soccer practice and games and scouts and church and hobbling up and down the stairs to my 2nd floor bedroom.Eventually, the next year, I returned back to Houston to face my life again. I even foolishly convinced my new ex to fly up to Tulsa and meet me for a NY’s Eve weekend fling (while my mom watched the boys) just to purge the memory of my prior year’s divorce from him. He brought me a peace offering of some rare French champagne and we ate dinner out and spent the weekend going to a hotel NY’s Eve party. We dressed up and danced and it felt like old times but it wasn't. It was just rebound sex for him and a NY’s Eve date that turned into a next AM quick farewell Denny’s breakfast and then he was gone again.I saw him again back in Houston, I kept trying to hold onto a connection that no longer existed for him because I was still madly in love and wanted to forgive him. We hooked up at some very pricey and nice Houston hotels near his Westchase home. He even saw me suddenly the very weekend when he announced his dad had suddenly died and he spent the night with me and then went home to plan my former father-in-law’s memorial services. Sadly, I wanted to stay one more day and attend but his first ex wife was going with the three older boys and they were all Catholic and I was just the new ex-wife and Methodist who he married in my Westchase Methodist Church chapel. He didn't want his first ex or his sons to get upset or cause a scene so the little boys and I were banned.Later on I figured out that he must have had other reasons for marrying me. His Dad I later learned had been retired from the very oil company that laid me off and was a former EVP of their old NY headquarters office. I knew he came from wealth when we married but I wasn't introduced to his sisters or family until just before we married. Even then I felt it necessary that I went to my attorney and I got a Pre-Nuptial Agreement which we had to execute on the night before we got married in Puerto Rico (a brief stop on the long flight to BVI) because my attorney couldn't get it drafted fast enough. With he and I on a long series of global conference calls and with my prior legal administrative experience, I helped speed things up by typing up the changes my new hubby proposed and forwarding them back to the attorney’s admin to fax us the final document. We landed in BVI, executed the document with witnesses and then got married the next day at the hotel. I paid for this Pre-Nuptial Agreement to reassure him that I married him for only the right reason —-because I loved him dearly and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.Fast forward to today. I had to move out of my 15 year home, sold it and found out rent had quadrupled since divorce in early 2011. Now we live in a good school district not 15 minutes from my ex but only twice have we run into him at the grocery store coming in when we were headed out and at a nearby lunch place. Both times he looked straight ahead like we were total strangers to him and he had never even known us. Those looks cut me to the heart and sent me into more sobbing moments even years later. My sons are now 12 and 15. We rent now. I have lost enerything except they have keep me going. I still have no assets. Everything I worked almost 30 plus years in the workforce since age 15 is gone. I went back and picked up an insurance license and worked almost 1.5 years in 2015–2016 until my out of state DSC who transferred here just quit in March after the Presidential primaries. He had worked 9.5 years but just couldn't make a living here and would have been vested 100% at 10 years but he went to Chicago and left us new agents without the means to give sales presentations. He had the only company laptop with software on it to sell policies. Most of my team quit (the new agents). My regional manager who hired me just neglected us and his agency let our licenses lapse without even direction or guidance on how to keep them intact. So I have taken a new self-employed Quality Control Mgr job that lets me work from home and hasn't paid out yet but I hope it does. I work another two apt Auditor self-employed smaller jobs to keep just enough cash to barely cover rent and food.To further aggravate life, my 65 year old ex-hubby and his new 18 years’ junior wife both lost their oil jobs Dec 2016. They left Houston and his child support stopped for our minor sons now ages 12 and 15. He filed for early Social Security and now my minor sons are also going to start getting small checks to cover their upkeep until they are 18 when those checks stop. It doesn't fully cover list support so my ex has promised to cover the shortfall pymt.I haven't dated in 6 years since my 2nd ex hubby left with the exception of two dates with a much younger :36 year old guy I met online who took me out twice. We had fun but he disappeared so I guess my age (& kids) were a little too much for him. It's so hard even dreaming of ever having another husband again or owning a home again and it still makes me sad that I can't even afford a 3 bedroom apt. My sons have to bunk together cramming a queen bed and a double bed into a large Master bedroom while I sleep in the Guest bedroom. There just never seems to be enough money to get them out of apt renting or into their own separate rooms. Our apt is old and built in the 1960’s too because we cannot afford those higher priced luxury newly built places either. My income only stretches very thin.I just want to see both my sons graduate high school though I have no idea now how I can ever afford college for them.I would like to one day date again but like that actress Sophia Vagara who waited until her only son was in college before she started dating again, I might suffer the same fate. By then I'll be around 59 years old so hopefully someone will still want to date then too. It's been a very rough rough 6 years.I have a BBA in Business Administration from UT Austin and was born and raised here in Texas by an oil company dad and first grade retired Texas teacher mom who were married over 50 years till my Dad passed.I still have my health and my two sons and a very fat, old cat we adopted after he was thrown out on the street, abused and left there to die when he was a year and a half old as a male kitten. He survived and I guess we have too!
