PDF Editor FAQ

Which pistol seems to jam the most in your opinion?

I can recall only two pistols, I ever had real trouble with . The first was a .25cal raven semiautomatic. I carried while delivering pizzas. It was the only hand gun I owned at that time. It would stove-pipe over and over. No matter how clean or well lubed. The second was sold to me at a gun shop as a rugar. 38cal revolver. I carried it for years as an armed guard, target shooting, and took it to my CCW class for qualifying. It was accurate, and it went bang every time, until it didn't. DURING QUALIFYING for my CCW. I had to borrow a loaner to qualify.I Contacted rugar to see if they could check it out, and do a deep clean while they had it open, since it would no longer advance The cylinder.I Gave them the model number and serial number And after a confused pause….”that's not our number.” “Are there any other markings?” “Um, yes, the RG on the grips and R-39 on the barrel.” That's not rugar, that's a Rohm!”“Rohm? What the heck is a Rohm?” “President Reagan was shot with a Rohm. Shortly after that, they had some safety recall issue, and they stopped making guns, and returned to making lathe chucks”.To this day, I have only found 2 references to the model R-39 (I think it was thier last model made).Upon contacting Rohm about the gun, I was told they had no information at all. I asked about it's history, or if any parts were available, and got “NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL. We don't make guns anymore. No info, parts, nothing. That chapter is closed.”At this point, that pistol is just waiting for the next gun Granger's “gun buy back program “ where I will get a few bucks for this messed up gun and call it an investment into my next gun.

My boyfriend says he lost his weapon while being deployed and he wants me to help him replace it. What should I do?

Everyone that's says you're being scammed is correct. I am prior military and one of my jobs in the military was a flight armorer. I was the guy who issued weapons, got them back, checked the weapons, stored and guarded the weapons. So first off if your boyfriend lost his weapon someone would notice. Like the requisition officer, armorer, immediate supervisor, etc.Secondly the military knows what it has. Yes the military does misplace stuff (I once found a mortar set up that had been misplaced in an old storage room) but every single firearm has a serial number and what's called a butt number. The serial number is etched into every firearm upon manufacture, even military ones. These numbers are tracked and assigned to specific troops. Then you have the butt number. A number placed onto the weapon, usually the butt of the weapon, for a shorter tracking number. Some places have permanently assigned weapons to troops, other times it's loaned out. But the numbers are always recorded. If this troop turns in another weapon people will noticeI once turned in a gas mask that had been switched and I paid over 100$ for turning in the wrong gas mask, even though the gas mask I turn d in was the same size, model, condition. The numbers didn't match so I got charged for it. Later someone else even turned in my gas mask. I was still charged. See my point? This is a scammer or a very stupid troop. I would forward everything you have to whatever branch of military your boyfriend claims that he's from. Public relations, military police, or Justice should all work.

Why did Russia shoot down that passenger plane over Ukraine?

Why did Russia shoot down that passenger plane over Ukraine? Thanks for asking. If they did it, it was because the civilian aircraft was routed to fly over a warzone where anti aircraft weapons were in use. Where it became collateral damage. Who does that kind of thing? You will notice I said “IF”The reason is that I do not trust any Judgment or investigation done by the West involving Russia.Tell me one single investigation carried out by an western dominated organization that was favourable to Russia or her friends. It is always the case of “white helmets” puting up a video and the West finding secret evidence they can not share to confirm that it is true. However when the Russians produce the doctors and victims from the scene saying there was no attack. The witnesses are said to have been bribed. So excuse me if I analyse the situation myself. The Dutch produced this as evidence that Russia did it.Investigators: Russian military missile downed Flight MH17The interesting part is that they find a whole body of the missile amongst the wreckage.Problems I have here. I am no expert but using common sense. The missile is pretty intact is it not? It is a direct hit missile and to proximity hit missile. I do not expect anything to be left behind. They said it was found amongst the wreckage. The same wreckage that was guarded by Donbass troops for almost a week before the investigators got access to it? Did they not themselves say that Russia will remove incriminating evidence? Yet they left behind a whole almost intact missile complete with serial numbers.East Ukrainian separatists surveying the crash site. Hard not not miss a green missile. That the serial number is identical to the serial numbers on the Russian convoy seen in the area. Who does that? Write identical serial numbers on weapons and ammo? Just who let them see the serial numbers on a Russian convoy in Russia? The serial numbers for that matter according to Moscow are from the Soviet series. Same series also in Ukrainian arsenal. The Serial number holds zero proof that it was fired by the Russians or it came out of the wreakage in the first place. From the Russian side, they said that they operated the Buk-M1-2, and no longer use the BUK SA11 that the Dutch claim was used. While both can fire the old 9M38 and 9M38M1 missiles. The Russians arm their newer models with the newer 9M317 missile as standard. They produced experts from the manufactures Almaz-Antey. Produced radar and other evidence. Nope not interested. Russians trying to cover themselves is the standard reply. However an outdated missile usually fired by an older model BUK has to be Russian no matter what. For extra evidence it has Cyrillic serial on it.As far As I remember. The preliminary report was that the blast damage was consistent with a missile fired by a BUK. Suddenly they find a whole missile. I would have thought that the missile alone would be QED.While you can claim that Russia is trying to cover up. Equally you can also claim that the Dutch are cooking up their investigation. From my view point, I see it differently.Images taken from the net.
