I am writing about my recent TES-42 ( army ) SSB on 16th July.Batch:- K-TES/4051020 SSB BHOPAL12 JULY 2019 to 16 JULY 2019REPORTING: 310SCREENED IN: 30RECOMMENDED : 5I'm chest no 23 here.Day 0 :- I took Bhopal express from New Delhi to Bhopal Junction on morning 11th July via Bhopal express reached Bhopal at 6:00 pm went to prebooked dormitory , freshen up ate snaks them started taking with other fresher's & repeaters in my dormitory found my childhood class mate as well conincidently ,I took 4 chaps to a restaurant near railway station for Dinner as I've already been to Bhopal before for SSB I knew some good places to eat.After having our dinner we went back to railway dormitory for sleep ,We got up early morning at 4:00 am get ready by 5:30 at reached Selection Center Central Bhopal by taking auto from railway station it's rate is 40 RS/ personDay 1: After reaching SSB centre. near sultaniya infantry line Bhopal,we were checked for our application form of TES-42 along with adhar card, we were asked to wait at waiting area where majority of candidates are coming finially the CHM sir came with other personals we were segregated in 3 group Repeaters ,Screenout & fresher's,out of 310 candidates reported 200 were fresher's ,70 Screenout ,40 repeaters out of them 30 candidates were screened in (10 repeaters and 20 fresher's + Screenout) Now we were sent to have breakfast at mess after coming from there at 3 different lines the document verification started for all 3 groups and accordingly we were allotted chest no,then because of higher no of candidates reported for tech entry the OIR & PPDT test was conducted in 2 separate places & fresher's were show different picture & different for repeaters same for OIRIn OIR test at Sam manekshaw hall I solved DIPR test no 54&55 ,mostly nonverbal questions were from cube (foreg:- Write YES/NO if following two cubes are alike or not ,Or Which of the following cube from these 2 group belong to SET A ) ,in verbal very easy question from series ,last word in dictionary, direction,some Quant questions were there,after practicing from DDA OIR PDF& Baalnoi OIR PDF& some SSB crack e book I was able to correctly solve 90% of them,We had to solve 40–40 to booklet in 17& 20 minutes.After the OIR test ,the officer came to gave us the briefing for PPDT & after that we were shown a picture where I could see “ 3 women character 2 in neutral mood ,1 in negative seeing something in notice board ) I perceived it as a theme of helping a friend in clearing competitive exam ,I made story where main character helps her frnd who could not clear AFMC exam ,my performance was very good in OIR and wrote good story in PPDT ,now I just need to do well in Narration & GD,being repeaters group we were called last for the Narration I got 20 mins at least to practice by rehearsal of the story I've made for PPDT, Eventually I gave my Narration confidently with fluent English,Now after my individual Narration I started collecting points of other candidates to be used in GD ,when last one going to end his story I was already very focused to start discussion & made up the line to be started as soon as last candidate finished I tried my best to increase my volume to be heard by the group & I managed to do it successfully but just after 10sec someone cut my point from they the whole group started speaking together & Officers got irritated & they divided the group into 2,again I spoke 3–4 point in that discussion,the GD was becoming very rough I remained silent for while then again gave so pointsAfter the PPDT test ,we went to eat lunch and pass time to wait for result,by 1:45 pm we were told about the results of 30 SCREENED IN CANDIDATES ,then we were asked to take out our all original Documents to that same hall for further varification there we needed 1 photocopy of 10th,12th,marksheet ,our addhar card, migration certificate 12th,NOC , Duplicate ID at join Indian army (all these are available in our call up letter) now we gave them photocopies of all these things and Fill PIQ form 3 times this time ,1 for Pych,1 for GTO,1 for IO,got 30 minutes to fill it, along with this 2 other extra forms of Indian army.After document filling and verification we were sent to out room ,10 chaps at a single room the rooms were huge and 2 coolers & fan ,beds were nice after putting the luggage and placing out all items in order we changed our clothes turned into sports casual left out for the playing & rooming around the SSB centre,I played basketball with ACC& recommended candidates for an hour after there went to cyber cell talked with parents & had dinner then hangout with my roommate talked a lot to them then went for sleep at 11:00 & awake early morning at 4:00 am.DAY 2:- After getting ready in 1 hour I went for breakfast which was good there after we were taken for group photo after that they took us to the same PPDT Sam manekshaw hall for pychology test,TAT:- 11 slides 30 sec,4 minutes to write=> I attempted all this I found that general the pictures shown to us were more kind of crisis manegement and none of them had single neutral character slide.Pictures shown/ I perceived ===>{ 1. A commando with rifle swimming across pond at back a car is drowning 2. A child seeing at book at library 3. A skipping rope/chabook,4. A detective type person looking by binoculars at some person 5. NCC cadets marching 6.A person just missed accident in road because crossing it with blind person & car overspeed 7. A girl giving something to a boy who is confused,anger, regret 8. FIRE at a house. } For blank slide I made story on spontaneous thought that came to meWAT:- they were as usual I attempted 57 /60 tried to gave observational responseSRT:- Same, focused to give full complete solutions hence could attempted only 46SD:- I made mistake here just wrote good point & left line for bad point to be written latter lack of time management missed them==>Overall I lacked in time management in my Pychology test needed to be more Neat & fast.After the test was over I had lunch again similar routine talk to parents & frnds in evening from pco & play basketball have fun with roommatesGTO day 1:-After having our breakfast we reported at 6:00 am in the GTO ground ,first sat for our GD test topics given were 1. lack of achievement by sports players of our country 2.reason of degrading environment ,the GD was rough the previous recommended candidates of my group we're dominating and it was really challenging to put your point either u need to be very loud or just start by cutting others point in between when overall the crowd is silent I would suggest you to go with spirit to perform be more bold & say whatever u have to say if there is good point,The GPE was again fish market,it was hard but I managed to make my group listen & agrees to some of my point,here your written idea of also matter but u should also have ability to influence the group & convince them to listen ur points.After that we went for PGT, again it was rough in beginning when everyone had ideas as we progressed we could see ,some people taking lead having good effective intellectual and Experience of doing this I also give 3–4 good solutions there ,after that We went for our Snake race which was fun,I helped my friend & tried not to attempt any mistake,After that we were taken for individual obstacles,being tired & little heavier I managed to attempt 10 of themAfter my GTO I was told about my interview at 4:00 pm I went back to line from GTO ground being tired took bath & changed into well dressed formalsINTERVIEW:- Here I'm adding the questions asked to me.Rapid fire:- 14 questionsSo Prajwal Starting with class 8th tell me the marks u scored in each class along with this performance in Competitive exams also tell me your participation in sports & coociricular activity & the friends u like most & kind of people u avoid to stay with im also interested to know it favourite teacher & 1 teacher who is less liked by u & why apart from that I want to know about ur father's occupation & the atmosphere at your family also tell me whome u approach in your deficulties & why?In GK.CPEC,OBOR, Armred Core vs Infantry,Costal ports of South& Capital of all 7 sistersWorm vs virusSRT:- related to organising Sports event& Securing computer from cyber attackLastly 2– SRT more on how to organize farewell & what to do at fire etc then some questions like Do u have GF,What's ur routine,When did ur father last time scolded you , What important thing did u discussed with ur parents last time ,Backup plan, Reason of past rejection etcHe also grilled me with Quant questions like train problem or bodmas calculation & few other calculation questions.==> Overall this time I said too much truth in Interview now I realize I could have omitted something or little bit presented in mild manner,This way interview held & after that followed similar routine of eating and fun. with friends & sportsGTO 2:- Similarly to GTO 1 , gathered at 6:00 am in ground ready for the lecurate ,in my card there was 1. My favorite book 2. SAARC 3. Honor killing. 4. NSGI spoke well around 3 minutes on NSG I'm satisfied with my Lecturerate performance , overall being a repeater everyone came prepared this time and delivered quality content.After that we went for command task , started waiting for my turn I was called in between the task was to diffuse a bomb which was easy I solved it from all 3 approach,I don't know but this time all our group we're given very easy CT,I was called by 3 candidates.After the CT ,we got ready for our Final group task by surprise this was the hardest FGT were seen by anyone us ,the whole group got stuck started solving by hit and trial method, eventually crossed it.Conference :- I had to wait for 15 minutes then I was called .Questions asked:-What were u thinking just before coming to the hallHow was ur stay xDWhat did you learnedWhere all did you go to visit BhopalRate yourself in all three techniqueTell your 5 quality & 5 areas of improvementWhy couldn't u clear SSB so farWhat will u do if u could not make it this time as wellIf I come to your home as a guest for 3 days in how will u make those 3 days memorableAny Suggestions for us?The conference took 15 minutes I came outside went for lunch,get back to same Sam manekshaw hall for result I was 60% sure to make it ..Result:- NOT RECOMMENDED==>chest no 5,14,16,28,29 got RECOMMEND.I HOPE TO MAKE MYSELF 100% SURE FOR GETTING RECOMMENDATION IN MY NEXT ATTEMPT FOR NDA.
