The 4th Quora meetup was one of the best events an Amdavadi Quoran can attend; those who've missed it, well, you missed it. We started with brief intros of all, and then had discussions on variety of topics right from travelling experience to the traffic awareness and a prudent talk on how to prevent the unnecessary show off in marriage expenditures. More prudent, I think, was one guy Nihar who came to meetup in spite of having his leg severely burned; hats off buddy for choosing us in place of that concert! Also the presence of Harsh Kothari, the wiki-fame and Akash Radadiya, who came all along from Surat especially for this meetup, was like an icing on the cake.All the stuff we churned upon was greatly put up, and we expect a yet better and planned one in the next anticipated meetup.We also witnessed one live traffic awareness initiative carried out by Ahmedabad traffic police, right outside the park we were in; as if they had secretively heard the traffic-issue discussion we had! The meetup ended with Honest ni Pavbhaji +Lassi+Chhaas, which also was a 'Khaane pe charcha' sort of thing.Putting all this in one line; it was an amazing fun and knowledge filled event, which I would look forward to attend n number of times. I congratulate Pruthvi, the guy who handled the event for a brilliant success we all had!

its depend of industries requirement suppose a company doing design of product and manufacturing, analysis then UG NX or pro-e best coz its conatains cad/cam as well as cae so its complete package. but in india money matters rather then requirement so the medium & small industry are use solidworks and solidedge, inventor coz they are not afford the license of software like catia, pro-e, UG Nx,2) most of the civil and architect prefer autocad 2D coz they have to work on primary layout.3) catia is very powerful and offers wide range of tool for surface modeling , its widely adopted in aviation(boing ,airbus, in india ISRo's launch vehicle, DRDO"s Rocket, HAL,IPR) and automobile industries(mercedez, BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari. in india tata,mahindra)4) in mould industry solidworks are widely used as i lived in ahmedabad i found 90% mould industries are using solidworks.so ultimately depends upon the requirement, if comapny doing priamry 3d model so i would suggest go for autodesk(inventor, autocad, maya, all the products) product is the best user friendly 3d cad,even i can bet you cannot find better 2D drafitng than this.
