I was twelve years old and we lived in a trailer after my parents divorced. This was directly after the divorce so we were living in a two bedroom trailer with my grandparents having the one bedroom and my mother and us 2 children sharing the second bedroom. It worked okay except for the neighbor.If you’ve ever been in a trailer park, you know that the neighbors are within “spitting” distance. Which is often times unfortunate. The neighbor in this particular instance was a man who lived alone in a smaller likely one bedroom trailer. He was a violent alcoholic. He had this beautiful dog that looked like an all white husky possibly akita type dog, just gorgeous. Sadly, he left the dog out in his small yard on a chain all day, behind the fence. I remember my sister and I would go over and try to pet the dog through the fence while the neighbor was passed out during the day. Or we would try to feed the dog, give him water, etc. This poor dog was just neglected plain and simple.On one occasion, late at night, the man was so drunk and violent that he was beating his dog. My mother immediately called the police when my sister and I were crying and begging her to stop him before he killed the dog. She called and the man was arrested but I believe he was only taken away to the ‘drunk tank’ for the night to sleep it off.The next night, he was back at his home and drunk again. He was shouting for the entire neighborhood (trailer park) to hear that he knew those ‘s@ns of b#tches’ (I believe he meant the neighbors in general, he did not know specifically who it was) turned him in and threatening this time to kill the dog because of the neighbors calling the cops on him. So the cops were called again.This time they brought animal control with them. The dog was thankfully removed from his ownership and he was arrested on charges of animal abuse, I believe. He went away for a long while (I never actually saw him again, so if he ever did return it must have been while I was at school). I believe he moved out soon after or the trailer was rented to someone else after some time.Honestly, we were all glad that he was gone. Living that close to a violent alcoholic was terrifying and for a house full of animal lovers, it was really difficult to witness the way he treated that poor dog.

Slip speed is the difference between Synchronous speed and rotor speed.It is given by s*Ns=Nr-Ns.Synchronous machine always rotates at synchronous speed irrespective of the amount of load it is carrying.Hence the difference becomes Zero and hence the slip speed of synchronous machine is Zero.Hope this helps.
